A few careful checks help make wedding resale easier.
Before you agree
- Ask for current photos, measurements, condition details, and a clear list of what is included.
- Confirm availability, the total price, pickup or shipping costs, and any return arrangements in writing.
- For dresses, check sizing, alterations, cleaning history, and visible wear.
Pay thoughtfully
Choose a payment method whose protections you understand. Be cautious about pressure to pay quickly, unexpected payment links, overpayment requests, gift cards, or requests for verification codes. The Bridal List does not handle checkout payments or hold money for users.
Pickup and shipping
Arrange pickup in a suitable public location when practical, let someone know your plans, and inspect items before completing the exchange. For shipped items, agree on packaging and tracking. Share only the personal information needed for the arrangement.
Seller reminders
Use accurate photos you have permission to publish, disclose damage, and keep availability current. Check that payment is confirmed through your payment provider rather than relying on a screenshot.
